Wellhouse Ranch Ministries Mission Statement
Alleviating the Greatest Disease in the World Today

“The greatest disease in the West today is not TB or leprosy; it is being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for. We can cure physical diseases with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair, and hopelessness is love. There are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread but there are many more dying for a little love. The poverty in the West is a different kind of poverty—it is not only a poverty of loneliness but also of spirituality. There’s a hunger for love, as there is a hunger for God.”

Mother Teresa

Juliette Anderson, founder of Wellhouse Ranch Ministries, has extensive training in counseling individuals, couples, and families. She also specializes in grief recovery and life crisis support. Juliette is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Board Certified Counselor, Military & Family Therapy Specialist, and Certified Grief Recovery Specialist.

However, as Wellhouse Ranch Ministries unfolded over many years, Juliette found that her commitment to the healing of the whole person is a calling that goes way beyond the “credentials.” For those seeking spiritual support, Wellhouse Ranch Ministries offers a unique and refreshing opportunity for an educational and healing journey within a pastoral ministry---yet combining this with a long history of superb professional preparation, training, experience, and mentoring. Therefore, we offer our services not as a typical licensed counseling office, but as a pastoral ministry, utilizing the best of pastoral and professional training from both worlds.

The Wellhouse Mission is dedicated to saving lives and improving the health, education, well-being, and healing of individuals, couples, and families within our United States Military, Native American, and Civilian Populations. We facilitate compassionate and competent integration of genuine faith with counseling, medicine, the arts, education, and nature as a “hospital” for the healing of the human heart. We also specialize in outreach to cancer patients and their families, as well as those experiencing other forms of medical crisis, loss, grief, pain, and suffering. We facilitate wholeness of heart, mind, body, and soul.

Statement of Purpose

Why do forty percent of suicides in America tragically occur within our United States Military?  What might be missing from the typical support services that operate under today's system of insurance billing requirements and the heavy emphasis on psychotropic medications?  Classes and teachers within universities and high schools simply do not exist for in-depth preparation in how to cope with the inevitable wounds and increasing stress within marriages, family, and work relationships, or for living as single people within the enormous challenges of today’s world. Wellhouse Ranch Ministries is committed to pursuing optimum health and well-being of the whole person. Through the sensitive application of our mission statement, we are seeking to establish a place of hope for individuals, couples, and families desiring improved health, better ways of coping that really work within their daily lives, harmonious personal and professional relationships, those in medical crisis and other forms of pain, loss, and grief. We provide spiritual support, counseling, mentoring, and educational services for those seeking to heal from past and current wounds in order to live more fulfilled lives.

How You Can Be a Vital Part of this Vision and Mission

Your support could contribute to the necessary fuel to keep this little spitfire plane off the landing field and in the air! Visit our Contributions Page by clicking here to see how you can contribute! Currently, we have several wonderful options on the table for realizing the immediate goal of purchasing and/or building our non-institutional Home of Hospitality—a world destination and true American home—where people within our local regions and those from other areas around the greater world will feel welcomed for individualized and small group services. The outreach will be offered during normal daytime hours for guests seeking our assistance. Many years of front-line experience in ministry to the whole person have prepared a solid foundation for this goal. We will work closely with military chaplains, civilian clergy, leaders, and innovators in medicine, the arts, and education, as well as our Native American tribal leaders, in facilitating creative events, key-note speakers, seminars, luncheons, and outdoor activities within unspoiled nature. Thank you for seriously considering walking alongside of us with your friendship, encouragement, support, and financial patronage. We welcome grants, gifts, endowments, or other forms of contributions. Yet, at the same time, we want you to know that each of you is infinitely more important to us than any amount of financial contributions. We thank you ahead of time for your support, prayers, and blessings on this outreach to our hurting world.
